Modern Commercial Banking Software Development Project Management Issues

With the deepening of financial reform in China, the state-owned banks have succeeded transmitting to commercial banks. Now the competition is becoming fiercer in this circle. To win the bank's competition, the modern commercial bank improve the service through offering customers the convenient, swift and various financial service by employing banking electronic system with advanced software. Therefore, the ability of developing software is one of the key factors to strengthening bank's competitive power. And the project management is the major method to realize the banking system development.This paper studies how to develop software for the banking system in high-efficient way, using the theory of the project management and the theory of software engineering. The paper combine with the real situation of commercial bank, study the nine aspects as follows: integration management, scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, human resource management, communication management, risk management and purchase management. This paper presents the practical and feasible method for implementing software project in commercial bank. The method proved itself acceptable and effective by implementing it in the software development project in a commercial bank.
