Work Stress Management

Since 1900's,work stress has been an important academic category in psychology, management science and sociology. The problem of the work stress has stood out as the rapid development of industrialization. The unexpected stress damages the health of the employee as well as the efficiency of the organization. The study is carried out from a perspective of multi-subjects. Based on the fundamental theories of sociology and psychology, this paper makes an exhaustive use of stress management theories and research methods in addition to tourism management theories. Adopting a method combining literature review with positive research of hotel industry, the paper discusses the necessity of the stress management, analyzes the internal and external cause of the stress and the influence to employees and enterprise, proposes the principles and methods of the stress management of hotel industry.
