The global economy is facing severe challenges.Enterprises not only face the competition of domestic enterprises,but also face global competition.If enterprises want to survive and develop,they must take the initiative to enhance their core competitiveness.And the key to enhance the core competitiveness is in people,that is,the employees of the enterprise.In this study,the designers of Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute(Group)Co.,Ltd.are taken as the research objects.Through the way of questionnaire,the author summarizes and analyzes the source of work stress and the influence of stress on job performance.At the same time,understand the working stress of the designer and manage it effectively.Through research and analysis,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)Combining the public service performance management theory in public management,managing the performance of the Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute,and through performance evaluation,the organization's incentive and restraint mechanism has a basis to stimulate the work enthusiasm and motivation of the designers.An important means of effective resource allocation in the public sector.(2)The designers of SMEDI face the pressure of work itself(including working time,difficulty,workload,etc.),the pressure of self-expectation,the pressure of career development,the pressure of work-family and the pressure of interpersonal relationship.There were significant differences in job stress and job performance among designers with different demographic characteristics(sex,age,academic background,working years,marital status),and there was a correlation between job stress and job performance of SMEDI designers.(3)According to the correlation analysis and regression analysis,the stress of job task itself,the pressure of self-expectation and the pressure of career development are positive promoting effect on task performance.Work-family stress and interpersonal stress are negative effects.The stress of the job task itself,the pressure of self-expectation and the pressure of career development is a positive promotion of task performance,while the stress of work-family and interpersonal relationship is a negative effect.(4)Through the research conclusion of work pressure and work performance,this paper puts forward the corresponding strategies to improve the work performance according to the specific situation of the municipal designers,including the division of work together to work together,the system of professional training;Develop perfect workflow;strengthen time management and combine labor and rest.Through putting forward the concrete suggestion and countermeasure,carry on the effective management to the designers pressure and the performance.
