This study concerned with the structure of intrapreneurial competency, the factors influencing intrapreneurial competency, and the relationship of intrapreneurial competency and performance. On the basis of recent research literature, the author firstly proposed a model of intrapreneurial competency, and then analyzed the factors influencing intrapreneurial competency in order to build up the model of relationship of intrapreneurial competency and performance of the company. There are two stages in this study. At the first stage, an interview was conducted to analyze the structure of intrapreneurial competency and influencing factors and to test and verify the design of the study. In the second stage, 220 employees from 80 different enterprises were surveyed through.questionnaires. The conclusions indicated that:(1) Intrapreneurial competency consists of three key dimensions: Entrepreneurial ,posture(including business venturing, innovation,self-renewal, proactive), organizational learning, and network competency(including social interaction and customer ties).(2) Performance of company consists of task performance and contextual performance, which are connected with different intrapreneurial competencies.(3) Intrapreneurial competency was affected by organizational, team and individual factors,such as management support, work discretion, reward/reinforcement.(4) Under different ownership and at different development stages of the company, the intrapreneurial competency was different.(5) Under different sizes and competitiveness, the intrapreneurial competency of the company was different.
