MaoZedong inherited and developed Marxist education idea on full development, then created the education thought of full development adapting to the Chinese Characteristics according to the China's reveolution and construction.Mao's education thought and relevant views of full development scattered in all kinds of his works and talking. These thought and views can be concluded in three aspects:"Combining the mental work with the manual work"; "Developing moral teaching, intellectual education and gym education completely"; "Making the full development of the character of the educatee". Mao thought , in the rank society, mental work was opposite to the manual labour, person's full development couldn't be attained. Therefore, he claimed that education should keep with the politics and economy of the society, and should bringup newfashioned revolutionary and constructor who combined mental work with manual labor completely with all strength . On the foundation that the manual labor should be completely combined with the mental work, Mao further put forward, "should make the moral teaching, intellectual education, gym education and several relevant aspects get the full and complete development". Completely developing the character of the educatee was a big creation of Mao's full development thought. He thought, a person's full development was the complete development of his character first, so he alleged to develop the subjective and to make the educatee 's character briskly and actively develop.Mao not only brought up the education thought of full development, but also found the valid path of bringing up the person of full development from his long-term revolution and education practice: "Insisting on the main political direction of education's serve for the proletariat politics"; "Insisting on the education's combination with the labor"; "The teacher was the key to the education of full development". "Insisting on the education's serve for the proletariat politics" was raising the person's political consciousness and morals and making the proletariat revolution project's successor by spreading the Marxism-Leninism and communism. According to this, Mao thought school should put this firm political direction at the first place and raise their communism consciousness, then help them to set up the right ideal and faith. "Combing education with the labor" was brought up by the Marx, Mao developed "the unique method on cultivating the person of full development" in a creative way.Even to this day, Mao's education thought of full development still has a strong impact on our education.
