With knowledge economics coming, Human Resource Management(HRM) has become the key block of enterprise management systems. Modem enterprise management theory believes that the key of HRM is to establish a set of scientific incentive system. Perfect incentive system is the most immediate and the most effective management measure to encourage the better and spur the backward, and to stimulate the staff's creativity and enthusiasm. Though compensation isn't the only way to encourage the employees, it is the very important way and the easiest way for managers to use. Compensation management doesn't concern with money directly, but concern with how to make compensation strategies. The basic premise of strategic way is adaptability. So the thought of setting a compensation structure is compensation structure must suit to organization system, support the way of working, and adapt to management strategy, which will encourage the goals of the personnel in accord with those of the organization. So research of enterprise compensation strategy not only has theory value, but also will guide practice.This paper concentrates on studying compensation administrations and other relevant issues and gives some suggestions.First, the paper makes a thorough and systematic analysis of compensation strategy theory. Second, the paper explicates research actuality and application of internal and overseas compensation appraisal. Basing on it, the paper elaborates basis of compensation appraisal from concept, goal, strategic administrative levels, principle and factors etc. Third, the paper discusses the relevant theories hi term of strategy. Forth, the paper analyzes the four strategic compensation policies: compensation strategy, internal consistency, external equity, employee equity and compensation management. Last, the paper introduces compensation administration in several countries.In terms of its practical .analysis and demonstration, this thesis takes EXPO Combine Company for an instance. Based on all of the above study and the research of the company, suggestions to solve problems are put forward.Based on the research, this paper is likely to conclude that a successful compensation system can support enterprise's management strategy, can bear pressures from society, competition and law etc. The goal of compensation system is to make the goals of the staff accord with those of the enterprise, and to help enterprise win and keep competition superiority.
