Globalization and nation sovereignty are one of the most important and potest problems in the research of International Relation Theories. it's also the jumping-off point for certain country to draw up external policies. Today, with peace and development becoming the steme of the international relations, pursuing international cooperation become a necessary choice for certain country. At the same time, after the cold war, some west countries pursue hegemonic theory with fresh means. Resorting their economic superiority, and with theories on outdated sovereignty, relative sovereignty, ect, or under the name of maintaining peace, erecting system, reinforcing international cooperation, these west countries meddled in the international affairs of other developing countries.It's more important for china, the biggest developing socialistic country, to defend its sovereignty on the way to search for international cooperation under the background of globalization. The article attempt to analyse the impacts to which the international cooperation lead, and the measures we should take under the background of globalization.The article is divided into three parts. The first part analyse globalization resumptively. On the basis of borrowing the David Held's analysis on globalization, and connecting the reality, this part summarize some characters of globalization and put forward that the international cooperation is one of the inevitable consequences of globalization. By this, the article think that the international cooperation has objective reality. The second part is a synthesis and simple remark on recent theories of international cooperation ( especially neo-realism and neo-liberalism ). The aim is to emphasize the two principal elements that affect the international cooperation and get the new characters of it in new times. The third part is conclusion part, on the basis of the above two parts and through the discussion on the sovereign theories, the last part get effects on national sovereignty that lead by international cooperation, and then put forward the necessity of modulating theories on sovereignty and relative target.
