A Company Manufacturing Operations Management, Diagnosis And Improvement

The key of OM is management of production system, the principal target is to minimize input and maximize output ,so many critical aspects have been revealed .such as (1) production planning,(2) inventory control,(3) stability of quality,(4) balance of job arrangement, (5) in-time financial analysis .The purpose of this thesis is to diagnose the weakness exposed during actual activities which is happening in A company by the theory of OM. To summarize together, all issues are focused on management of planning, inventory and quality .The existence of these issues will influence unique strengths and ability of competition of A company. So it is critical to make self -improvement and make better groundwork for going toward world-class manufacture center.In this thesis ,by the introduction of concept of PSI-the relationship of production, sale and inventory, from the view of factory and market , the new solution of planning is presented which taking account of cost and profit completely. It will optimize the production plan which realizing the information integrity, driven by customer and quick response by market feedbackBy the way of SPC and establishment of linear regression module of purchasing, the issue about demanding enlargement due to indepen- -dent inventory management will be solved, the inventory optimized plan is presented to satiate the production fluctuation. So the inventory management is not a independent process but a connection and coordination center.And in order to changing original principle for quality management :fire-fighting, the new philosophy -6 is presented which to purse the perfect status by th PDCA circulation, data analysis, problem measurement and cause analysis.The thesis is based on problem description and to investigate the problem in planning, inventory and quality management, embodying the thought of planning integration. In order to adapt the market fluctuation ,the original independent module for inventory control should be updated.
