Jiangsu's Economic Market Process - Government Functions And Enterprise System Market Transition

Since the beginning of the 90s of the last century, when the aim, to establish the market economy in socialism society, has been expounded clearly, a number of scholars started to research the issue of the reform progress of the economic system. On the base of quantum analytical method, they tried to firm the reform direction or to elucidate the effectiveness of the reform. Among these research outcomes, the writing of ChenZongSheng and FanGang are outstanding, under the illumination of the two researchers, we choose the economy development of JiangSu as the research object, and analyze the relative progress of the development of market economy in JiangSu between 1992 to 2002.After giving the definition of the marketization and its criterion, we select government and corporation as the start of the research, which are the principal parts in the economy and the important objects in the marketization reform. We analyze and appraise the more than ten years' reform course of the market economy in JiangSu from the two points of view, the transition of the government's function and the transition of the corporation's system. In the specific analyzing, based the research of the priority, we select the "the proportion of the investment belong to the government budget in the total society fixed assets investment" and the other seven indexes as the guide lines to evaluate the progress of the marketization. We apply the SPSS to deal with the indexed, and then we gain the relative progresses of the transition of the government's function and the corporation's system, together with the relative progress of the whole body. As a result, we draw a conclusion that since the 1992, in JiangSu, although exiting a little fluctuate, the basic progress of the marketization is presenting a raising trend, and the pace of the reform has been accelerated in the resent yeas.
