Viewing from the background of Knowledge Economy , it's clear that Human Resources which is regarded as the creator, user and bearing of knowledge has become the vital factor of the social productivity, the talent and economic integration is the current development trend. HR management now becomes important part of basic functions of the modern enterprise and modern enterprise managements. Performance management takes leading core place in the whole HR management system , so the Author chose Performance management as his studying subject.In theoretical level, The article gave a comprehensive presentation on Performance, Performance management and Performance assessment, analyzed the content, essence and characteristics of the Performance management; Gave detailed discussion of the total processes on Performance management from Performance plan, Performance action, Performance evaluation and Performance feedback ; Analyzed the concrete usage of Performance results in the enterprise management .
