Gz Telecommunications Company Status Of Information Technology And Construction Research

On December 11, 2001, a new scheme of system reform of Chinese Telecommunication came up.This symbolized that six service-providers would compete in Chinese telecommunication market and that the national telecommunication-development would enter a new period. From 2002, all service-provider, which have the almost equal competencies and resources, have reinforced their capabilities to occupy the market. The competition was becoming more intensive. In addition, Chinese telecommunication market would gradually open to foreign competitors based on the agreements signed when China entered WTO. Thus, the international telecommunication service providers, which have advantages of high informatization, will compete the market in near future. How to find and solve the existing problems in enterprises' informatization, move the construction of informatization effectively to increase the key competitive abilities and meet the challenges of national and international competitors, and find methods for long-term and stable development, are undoubtedly problems that all service-providers increasingly concern and emergently want to solve.This thesis is concerning the above problems. After researching and comparing the trend of international and national telecommunication development and investigating and evaluating the current situation of GZ Telecom Company, I found the existing problems of the company and refined the essential factors that exist in the company' s informatization and restrict the company' s operation and administration. Then, using the advanced methods and ideas of foreign consultantcompanies, referring to the successful experiences and practices of international telecommunication enterprises, and considering the current problems, I form a whole plan of the informatization construction. According to the plan, I establish the total strategy of informatization construction, constitute advanced technology structures, and build a perfect organization structure and a clear management and control system. In addition, concerning the importance and complexity in the period that informatization construction begin to innovate, this thesis research the method of construction in this special period. Then, based on the author' s work-experience, I considered corresponding measures that deal with the possible problems probably happening in the implement.I hope, with these researches, that we can not only solve the current existing problems in the company' s informatization but also find a informatization-way that can support the operation and administration of the company and enhance the key competitive competencies of the company.At the same time, this thesis hopes that the methods and ideas that are used in the research and implement of GZ Telecom Company can be as references of other telecommunication enterprises when they construct their informatization system.
