Telecommunication grows fastest in industries of civil economy in China from reformation and openning. It has already won excellent achievement through adapting chang of market actively, breaking monopoly and attending competition. Especially, from 1990's the growing speed of telecommunication of China has been several times than speed of Chinese GDP along with steady and fast increase of Chinese economy. In telecommunication increase of mobile telephone is the fastest. Users of mobile telephones were more than that of settled telephones first time in October 2003. Along with change of market environment and more serious competition, mobile communication has been some new characteristics: ARPU is dropping, running cost and the rate of leaving the net is increasing, increased quantity is not matching with increased income, profit is increasing slowly.In this paper it's analyzed of new problems and change facing competition especially of impact on telecommunication of China after attending WTO. It's very important for healthy development of Jiangsu United Telecommunication Corporation to examine its strategy again and find its right orientation. It's argued in detail of its actuality and changing direction on the basis of reviewing the experience of reformation. The emphases are to analyze and discuss systematically the characteristic of the market of Jiangsu mobile communication, developing direction, structure of users and existing problems. Status of Jiangsu united Telecommunication Corporation is diagnosed using SWOT. Their Marketing strategies are brought forward.
