Port Machinery Plant Development Strategy

This thesis firstly introduce the object of study, which is general situation of Yantai Seaport Machinery Factory . It not only review the enterprise strategic management theory, such as porter's profession challenge theory and industrial competitive theory, but also summarize the enterprise key competitive power and characteristic, and how to raise the key competitive power of an enterprise. on the basis of summarizing up analytical methods of enterprises' competition , competitive strategies and the theory of key competitive power, it analyze the macro-environment of politics and economy faced by YTPM. At the same time, it analyze the competitive characteristic and developing trend in the international and domestic sluury pump. It define domestic condition of sluury pump, according to the production condition, industrial production scheme, professional competitive trend and new developing trend.After analyzing the competitive environment of the corporation, the author draws up a strategic aim, working out three optional strategies: low cost, discrepancy and integration in the light of its trade features. Moreover, this thesis evaluates how these schemes effectively strengthen the key competitive power of the Yantai Seaport Machinery Factory , puts forwards a scheme to combine the three strategies reasonably, namely a developing strategy relying mainly on the low cost competitive strategy while making the discrepancy one subsidiary, cooperating the vertical integration with the two above-mentioned kinds and preparing for the integration by creating favorable conditions in the near future. At the end of this thesis, some plans and measures are put forward to put the developing strategies for improving the key competitive power of an enterprise into effect .
