Xx Railway Locomotive & Rolling Stock Machinery Plant Performance Management Remodeling Program

In this thesis, the author, by taking XX Locomotive & Rolling Stock Industry Co. as an example, has elaborated at length the related knowledge and the operational method adopted in Performance Management, and thereafter illustrated the whole redesigning process of Performance Management, which is believed to be of great significance to the implementation of enterprise Performance Management system.The thesis is divided into four parts. The thesis, first of all, gives a brief introduction to XX Locomotive & Rolling Stock Industry Co., from where the topic of the thesis is presented to the reader, that is, the Performance Management Redesigning Project. The basic steps to carry out this project are put forward after the author has expounded some background knowledge related to the topic. Therefore, the main clue of Performance Management is explicated, which is termed as "performance plan - performance training - performance appraisal - performance communication". This clue forms the theoretic support of this thesis.In the second part of the thesis, the author analyzes the main problems that exist in XX Locomotive & Rolling Stock Industry Co. and provides corresponding solutions for reference, which presents to the reader a new direction to redesigning of the Performance Management project. In Part Three, the Performance Management redesigning project enters the designing stage. In this chapter, the basic flow of the Project at the designing stage is introduced, that is "stratagem planning - mechanism adjustment - flow programming - job analysis - project design." Then there follows a detailed explanation on the designing process of the Project. In this designing stage, the main clue of "performance plan - performance training - performance appraisal - performance communication "is carried out, and, by using the data of performance index, criterion definition and performance result, the content of the project is expounded in detail . In the last part, the author of the thesis makes a final comment on the result of the implementation of the project in XX Locomotive & Rolling Stock Industry Co., and therefore summarizes the lessons that the reader should draw from the whole redesigning process of the Performance Management in the XX Co..
