Grid corporations are national important foundation industries and public utilities because of close relation to National policy, people's livelihood and the safe of national energy. With the society increasing continuously, the whole society requests more and more high to the grid corporations for providing safer and more stability electric, power, and providing better services . With the reform of electric power deepening, the power plants separating from grids and the demand of electric power increasing rapidly, Grid corporations face the more and more pressure of producing and operating. Grid corporations ask the new demand about talented persons, development and management of human resource. Human resource, especially talent resource, is the most important one of Grid corporations and it is origin of business enterprise progresses. It is very important to analysis and considers human resource development and management for grid enterprises reform and progress, for facing challenge.The thesis is composed of four sections. In the leading part, it introduced necessity of human resource development and management in grid corporations. In the first chapter, it told the meaning of human resource development and management, the difference between the modern human resource management and traditional personal management, and significance for business development. In the second chapter, it discussed the characteristic of the grid enterprise, the present condition of human resource development and management, analyzed some main problems. In the third chapter, it analyzed completely situation and challenge of human resource development and management, and gave some advices on solving the problems.
