The Development Of Urbanization In China And Its Road Mode Selection

With the economic development, the progress of urbanization has improved accordingly. But not all the development countries will take advantage of urbanization. The abnormal urbanization of some developing countries not only will restrict the industrial and economic development, but also influence the agricultural development. The level of our urbanization lags behind the average level of world urbanization. On the basis of the principles of Development Economics, the paper studies the Chinese urbanization process to find out more available pattern for our urbanization.Our urbanization process is divided two stages. In new period, our urbanization emerges some troubles, such as the lower rate of urbanization,the backward urban infrastructure and unsound urban function. Meanwhile, the slow urbanization pace is the most serious. It hinders the development of national economy in great degree. Finding out the reasons why our urbanization lags behind is one of the premises to put forward the measures and the pattern of our urbanization road. Our urbanization must be guided by the reasonable theories. On the basis of the urbanization experiences and the facts of our country, we had better to put the more available theories into practice.
