With the development of the world economy, the competition among companies are becoming more and more intensely. Since supply chain play an important role in the companies' operation, the competition among companies became the competition among the supply chains step by step. As a tool of management and competition, strategy management was stressed by more and more companies. In order to measure the effect of the strategy management, performance measurement is emphasized by companies. In order to link the strategy management and performance measurement, in 1992, Professor Norton and Kaplan issued the BSC (Balanced Score Card), which had a great influence to the management of companies.This article discusses the application of BSC in SCM. In the beginning, we will describe the link among BSC, Performance Measurement and Strategy Management, and how to use these three elements in SCM to fulfill the company's strategy to improve the company's capability. Then with a case of A company, we will analyze the application of BSC in SCM and the problems that will be arisen in the process. At last, we will analyze the significances of BSC in SCM for Chinese companies.The aim of this article is to analyze the way to use BSC in SCM, and the meaning of BSC in SCM for Chinese companies. We will see the importance of BSC for the SCM and the companies. In order to compete with the companies from the foreign, Chinese companies should see the importance of BSC to the Strategy management and SCM., and use BSC to improve the capability.
