Research On Children And Family Ethics Education Status Quo And Countermeasures

A family, a cell of the society, is an important environment for achild to live and grow up. A family plays a more important role in theshaping of a child's moral behavior. However, current family moraleducation is facing challenges brought with the changes of socialenvironment. The thesis tries to probe into the causes of theseproblems and the ways to bring family education into full play in thefield of moral education. The thesis consists of three main parts.Firstly, it points out the problems of family education in three aspects:①In the content of education, knowledge is given much moreimportance instead of morality; ②In the measures of education,discipline is more emphasized than self-discipline; ③Approaches inthe upbringing of a child, external protection, not psychology, is paidmuch more attention In their daily lives; Secondly, the thesis analyzesthe causes of these problems in five aspects: ①The concepts offamily education are laggard; ②A favorable inner environment forfamily education is absent; ③Family education is facing newchallenges brought with changes of social environment; ④Strongsupports from school and society are lacking; ⑤The legal systemneed perfecting. Thirdly, the thesis brings up some tentativesuggestions to strengthen family education: ①The society, schooland family should work together to build a favorable environment forfamily moral education; ②Moral education should be combined withdaily lives; ③The relating legal system should be perfected.
