Accordingly, the Ethics and Professional Standards of our country belocated in a transition and development stage.The sound ethic system, strong moral evaluation and perfect moral atmosphere are importantto construct society morality. Among them, the moral evaluation is one vital component in moralactivities. The criteria of moral evaluation is based on certain social class ethics system, publicopinion and personal belief to evaluate individuals or group in society, it usually according to goodor bad, justice or evil, moral or immoral in order to constrain them in moral. Moral evaluation is themedium between moral thinking and moral behavior. Through the function of moral evaluation,people could do things in right way, and people could also get some new ideas to rich the contentsof moral thinking at the same time.In real life, making use of the moral evaluations, we should not only to make clear about thebasic criteria but also clearly the specific criteria of good and evil, and we need to know which isthe main body of the moral evaluation, how to do moral evaluation，and what the conditions ofmoral evaluation are. Moreover, people are increasingly concerning about the current moralconstruction. And many new results are studied in moral evaluation on the basis of originaltextbooks.After The Third Plenary Session, especially of The14th National Congress of the CommunistParty of China, The Socialist Spiritual Civilization has been grown up within a positive presentation,and The Citizen Moral Construction has been made a new step. But in our country, there are manyproblems in citizen moral construction, and the most prominent is the weakness of moral evaluation.For example, the confusion of what is right and wrong, what is good and evil. Sometimes, peoplewould be indifferent and keep silence to immoral activities, and even the courageous would lack ofrecognition and support. Such of these events are the most important issues of social problems ineveryone’s mind. Through the study in this paper, the writer got more about the current social moral evaluation,elucidated the meaning and effect of moral evaluation in today’s society moral construction.Besides, the writer also analyzed the current moral evaluation. It is found that the decliningattending rate of some people, the vague specific criteria of moral evaluation, the weakeningevaluation effect and the faulty operating mechanism are the important reasons of current poormoral evaluation.Through the study of many moral evaluation samples happened at home and abroad, the writerconcluded some suggestions we could use for reference in current moral evaluation system. Makingthe past serve the present. We should learn and heritage the treasure historical criteria and ethicalthought of “honor”“shame”“good” and “bad”.At last, the writer also suggested that people could improve the current moral evaluation fromthe following details. Strengthening and improving the current moral evaluation thoughts andinitiatives, including the key content, the way, and the environment of current moral evaluation.And make the improvement to be the guide for our practice.
