The output efficiency of brainwork is the most basic content of modern management.The improvement of scientifical administration for knowledge work is confronted with many basic problems because measuring brainwork is more difficult than measuring physical work. The famous scholar Durker said:the value of knowledge work rests with quality.However, the research of difficulty which describes the quality of knowledge work,is infrequent. So,to this issiue,focusing on the basic job of HRM.this paper chose how to form a job-evaluation factor-system as the cut-in point.take example by the evaluation of technic knowledge work,and put forword some innovative research views at how to use SEM successfully when we form the job-evaluation factor-system.Firstly,based on studying of many research documents,this article probed into the definition and factors of difficulty.With that ,this issiue made an operative definition of knowledge work difficulty and the operative definition of each factor in job-evaluation system.Secondly,this article outlined lots of common methods of job-evaluation and discussed the merits,demerits and the applied area.Hereon,the author focused on the ways of how to form a evaluation system and how to choose the evaluation factors.The author also point out that we have to improve many metheds at job-evaluation.Last, based on studying of SEM theories,this paper formed a 3-level SEM model of job-evaluation factor-system for technological knowledge work in terms of the steps of confirmatory factor analysis models. But of course this is an important try of HRM research method.
