Virtual Operating Theme Park

Nowadays, the Theme Parks in our country have the following problems: repeated construction, small scale, low profits, and so on. With the entrance of the international Theme Parks, those in our country will be brought into a new field of challenge and opportunity. So, we should analyze operating modes of those successful Theme Parks inside and outside our country. Furthermore, we should study the advanced operating modes. This can help improve the competitive advantage of the Theme Parks in our country, and realize the sustainable development finally. According to the accomplishment of the World Carnival in Shanghai and Beijing, a totally new kind of operating mode, namely "virtual operating", comes into our view. Virtual operating is a revolution to the physical operating. The core of virtual operating in a company is a greatest extent to use external resources in order to make use of the competitive advantage absolutely.Chapter 1 is the introduction of this paper, which introduces the background and the meaning of this study. Chapter 2 first of all analyzes the content and the character of the Theme Parks. Next, this chapter generalizes the developing course inside and outside our country, and the problems of the Theme Parks in our country. Chapter 3 provides that it is impossible to apply virtual operating in all Theme Parks or at any time. It should be applied on some given conditions. The content of virtual operating was given afterwards. On the basis of the Theme Park's lifecycle theory and the virtual operating mode of the World Carnival, we should analyze and study the mode of the World Carnival. So, we can apply the virtual operating mode to the Theme Parks. Then, this chapter analyzes the contents, conditions, risks of virtual operating in the Theme Parks. Chapter 4 puts forwards the definition of differentiated virtual operating in the Theme Parks, and generalizes the relevant methods. It puts emphasis on one issue. That is to say, virtual operating mode of the World Carnival can not be simply transplanted into the Theme Parks. According to the type, the feature and the core competitive advantage of it, theTheme Park should set up the basic operating modes, which includes two types. One of those indicates that virtual operating is primary and physical operating is secondary. The other one is on the contrary. This is the innovations and the main idea of this paper. For the purpose of being more abundant and believable, the last chapter carries on experiential analyses by means of practical cases of the World Carnival and its imitator.
