X Company is a firm who develops and manufactures automatic meters in our country. With the development of global economy, a great deal of foreign company entered into Chinese market. So the competition is becoming stronger and stronger in the industry of automatic meters. Facing the acute competition, X Company carried out the strategy of developing strategic alliances.Taking X Company as example, this essay summarizes the theory bases of strategic alliances and discusses the designing, constructing and managing process of X Company's strategic alliances. This essay is mainly divided into five parts.First, it puts forward the question and determines the study object.Second, it sketches the strategic alliances' theories.Third, it analyzes the strength, weakness, opportunities and challenges of X Company. Then it discusses how to choose individual alliance, and how to design and construct the strategic alliances.Fourth, it analyzes the risks for X Company's strategic alliances and discusses how to run, supervise and manage alliances.Fifth, according to the analysis and research of X Company's strategic alliances, this essay summarizes the enlightenment to how to develop strategic alliances for domestic companies.
