The telecom market forms into a complete value chain. In this value chain, through providing products and services to upper ones, the lower enterprises gain profit and the target of the whole value chain is to meet enterprises and personal information needs. We could divide the value chain into five layers: 1) equipment manufactures, 2) service providers, 3) network constructor, 4) telecom carries, 5) end users. In this whole picture, telecom carriers are the core business organizers. They could adjust and control the upper and lower partnership of all participants in this value chain to gain steady return. Meanwhile, as to a specific telecom service, carriers are the designers and organizers for the business model.In current competitive environment, business model gradually turns into one of the key factors to the successes of a service or business. Base on it, this thesis is aim at analyzing external factors including historical profit statues, overall business environment, customer needs and company internal reality including strategy, operation, human resource and organization. Further more, through financial forecast including cash flow, operational profit and business growth evaluation, the business model is designed on the basis of actual environment and resources.As for the current telecom sector, data services demonstrate more and more importance and potential. Shenzhou Telecom, the symbol of monopoly breaking up in China's telecom industry, sets its business strategy on streaming media and pre-3G services based on its network advantages on data processing and transmission. After the full evaluation on the telecom commercial environment and business model, this thesis delivers the specific business model plan for Shenzhou telecom's mobile video service and designed specific strategies for its initial phase, launching phase and transition phase.Base on the business model design for mobile video service of Shenzhou Telecom, author drew the following conclusion: CDMA data network is the differentiate advantage with China Mobile, the market dominator in the mobile market. Mobile video service is the integrated service combining data, voice and streaming media advanced technologies. As the value chain leader and organizer, we believe the mobile video service will successes on the market by effective market promotion. In addition, this service will accumulate valuable operating experience for the forthcoming 3G business.
