Xi'an High-tech Electronics Manufacturing Site Information Validity Study

As the high speed of network technology development and rapid extension of globalization, network is just covering the whole world with swift speed. Chinese Enterprises began to enter Internet through years practice, which not only brings new commercial opportunities to enterprises but also supplies a more convenient platform for customers. Meanwhile, many enterprises found that their websites had not got the profit they had expected. It means that their websites are ineffective. Of course, the website is just a platform, the content on the website, also called information, is what users really care about. So we can use the availability of information on the website to reflect its effectiveness in this sense. As one of the fast developing high-tech industries in the world, electronic manufactories began to set up their own websites, announce information, and offer service under the circumstance of web. But because of the advancement of its technology and the specialization of the products, the information on the website is different from others. So this paper chooses electronic manufactories in Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone as the research objects to make some research. The following are the major research methods and conclusions:(1) an evaluating index system of information availability on the website is set up just for electronic manufactories from the input of information platform, input of information and the feedback effect of information by synthetically considering the website present conditions of electronic manufactories and the evaluating standard of internet sources.(2) Based on the index system of information availability on the website, this paper investigates on the target enterprises with questionnaire. After dealing with the collected data, this paper analyzed the availability of information on the website in electronic manufactories with Data Envelopment Analysis. It separates the effective enterprises from ineffective enterprises. To the ineffective enterprises, the paper use the projection method on relative effective side of DEA to adjust the inputs and outputs so that they can operate effectively.(3) Combining with the result of DEA, this paper uses statistics analysis to eachindex through the data collected to find the distance between the effective units and ineffective ones further.(4) This paper puts forward some improve measures to improve the availability of information on the website from four aspects through considering the characteristics of electronic manufactories and the results of DEA.
