The efficient planning and scheduling are the basis of advanced manufacturing technology. It ensures the production of the companies, decreases the cost of products, and increases the completive force of companies. The research and application of job-shop planning and scheduling system based on components has become the new trend in manufacturing companies.Based on the research and development of the Project "Configurable Job-shop Planning, Scheduling and Controlling System Based on Components" and the Project "Job-shop Management System of No.36 Branch Factory of XAC", the thesis researches the Job-shop planning and scheduling system for the diversified varieties and little batch production manufacturing workshop. First, the current job-shop planning and scheduling process is analyzed, and the defects of it are improved. The improved planning and scheduling processes are proposed. Both the information modeled and function model are modeled with IDEF , and the system is modeling with object-oriented technology .Second, referenced the design pattern "Model-View-Controller" (abbreviation is MVC), a software framework based on components is designed .The components used in the system are modeled, designed and implemented with the oriented-object principles and technology.Finally, a job-shop planning and scheduling system based on components is developed. Delphi 6.0 is used as the development tools, and Oracle 8i is used as the database server.
