The compensation is a key means that encourages the employee. Infact, the compensation problem is a fair problem to a large extent. Jobevaluation is a means to an end. It is important to design and carry out areasonable and valid job evaluation .That can attract and keep the talentedperson. Theme,Structure and Main idea The thesis is a study on job evaluation. In the thesis, the writer takesan overview of job evaluation, analyzes some shortages of the existingjob evaluation in the implement, puts forward suggestion. At the sametime, the writer expounds how to implement. This thesis is divided intototally four chapters. ChapterⅠ: The writer takes an overview of theory of job evaluation.The first, the writer clarify that job evaluation is basis of job-based paysystem; The second, the part is concerning theory of job evaluation. Chapter Ⅱ :This part puts forward thoughts of improving jobevaluation. The writer introduce the operation step of the existing jobevaluation .Then, the writer analyses shortages of it in the implement.Combining the development trend of job evaluation, aiming at shortagesof it, the writer puts forward the think that can improve job evaluationand analyses characteristic of the one. Chapter Ⅲ:The writer discusses how to implement the improved jobevaluation together with the case example. This part is a thesis point. Thefirst, the writer elaborates the implement step of the one. It mainlyincludes partition of post group,analyzing of job,composing of postmanual,the design of the evaluation tool,carrying on the grade anddeciding of salary level aiming at each post group. The second, the writermainly discuss how evaluation result is converted toward the wagesstructure. Chapter Ⅳ: In this chapter, the writer discusses how to use andsupport job evaluation result. The first, the writer discusses how anemployee is fixed position in the compensation structure. section is aboutthe use of evaluation result. It not only can be used to certain basecompensation, but also contact with variable compensation. The secondsection is about how to support. At last, the writer analyzes the advantageand the shortage of the improved job evaluation. Job evaluation is a path to resolve the internal equity. Its usefulnessnot only is decided by the aptness of its method, but also the rationality ofthe design. Its implement process is very important. At the same time, theemployee takes part in its implement. The main contributions of this thesis are as follows: firstly, jobevaluation quotes the concept of the post group. It resolves the existentproblem of the existing job evaluation. Secondly, Find out the way thatsieves compensable factor. Thirdly, combine the post and person. The shortage of this thesis is lack of the dynamic state.
