Logistics Companies Transport Cost Optimization

With the development of Chinese logistics, logistics began to be popularized in all circles and applied in economy activities in China. Logistics is regarded as source of the third profit. According to the promise of join to the WTO, Logistics was one of the earliest opening industries to the WTO. Transport is the core role of Logistics. Therefore, the management of the transport cost is important to the management of the logistics cost.In this paper, I have analyzed the composing of transport cost, and found out the reason to the high transport cost, and tried to found the model of research the cost of transport, avoid any cost that is not necessary, so that I can improve the efficiency of transport, and carry out the cost researching.I have divided the paper in three chapters.1. Introduction. In this chapter, I have explained the reached aim and reached method. I also introduced the relevant theories and the general situation of the research in domestic and overseas.2. Analyzed the character of transport cost. Analyzed the relation between those variables, put forward the principle of the transport rationalization. Avoiding any waste in transport. I also tried to find out the history and practical reason to make the transport cost high.3. Reached the method to research the cost of transport. For a fixed supplies and requires condition, if we knew the price of traffic, we could find the economy way to finish the work of transport by apply an operational research model. For those not concerning of the price of traffic, to get an economy way to complete the traffic task, I suggest applying a traffic net design to find a shortest way, and the transportcost is the lowest.
