The technical barriers to trade in international trade is a set of compulsory technical measures which is made by one nation in order to protect the nation's security, the life and health of human, animal or plant, the environment, or the prevention of deceptive practices. Such as the technical regulation and standards, packaging, marking and labeling requirements, etc. The general meaning of technical barriers to trade refers to all kinds of measures that could affect international trade, including the regulations about Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade, Agreement on Sanitary and Phytosantitary Measures, Agreement on Importing Licensing Procedures, General Agreement on Trade in Services. This paper is mainly discuss about the legislation of technical regulation and standard, packaging and labeling which made by some developed country in technical barriers to trade and sanitary and phytosantitary measures. Also discuss about the lack of our legislation and about how to react against technical barriers to trade and sanitary and phytosantitary measures.
