Purpose of the thesisThis thesis analyzes and studies the problems of the Human-Resource-Management in LY Fire-Proof-Material Company, Ltd.(following as LY-FPM) with different methods, and furthermore, puts forward relevant solutions.LY-FPM which was built in 1992 and run by private capital has entered in a rapid development period in recent years, with production scale continuous extension and production value rise after 2000. Currently, it employees 912 persons and has fixed assets up to 27 million RMB. With its rapid developments LY-FPM has met many problems and difficulties regarding to the Human Resource Management.500 Inquiring-Paper have been sent to the employees covering managers in different positions and workers in the production line. And about 430 papers were returned. Concurrently, interviews (telephone interview and face-to-face interview) were taken on in the investigation. Upon the analysis of the paper and the information extracted from serials of talks also, the issues of the Human Resource Management in LY-FPM were diagnosed and a whole plan about how to improve it was constructed. It includes following parts: Enterprise business strategy and environment analysis; Enterprises organization analysis and its modifying; Enterprise business work analysis; Enterprise business tests the system examination; Enterprise salary system; Enterprise human resource management.This diagnosis and examination will benefit LY-FPM in three aspects: 1, to discover the problems existed in the moment human resource management; 2, to establish a tailored solution to match the need in practice; 3, to help LY-FPM increases it ability to find the problems in the human resource management. Furthermore, the solutions adopted in this thesis will provide a general approach to analyze the Human Resource Management in a similar enterprise. The data here can be referenced for other enterprises as well.Research methodThe method used in this thesis integrates the latest management theories and themanagement experiences of the author. The main contents are as follows: Inquiring methods in the investigation about the enterprise human resource management; Application of SWOT method on analysis of the dominance , inferior situation , chances of the enterprises; Application of observation method, interview method, working-log method etc.; Application of grading method, evaluation method on the design of the salary system; Application of KPI and balance-records method on the design of the examination system.Results and conclusionsObvious affects have been realized after the improvement on the management based upon the proposals and plan in the project. But some proposals and conclusions in the thesis may not be detailed, and will be refined in next step, as for the limited experienceand knowledge of the author.
