Pursuit Of Harmonious Social Justice

Justice is eternally a basic idea and code of conduct of human society. It is an ideal. Even, it is a difficult problem which needs to be properly solved in social development. The issue of justice is now a study focus of social science all over the world and great achievements have been made abroad. At present, as the transformation of society in China is speeding up, many unfair phenomena appear. Among these are gap between the rich and the poor, town and countryside, one region and another, inharmony of economic and social development and increasing burden on farmers. All these problems are convergently reflected through the issue of justice. Meanwhile, people are increasingly aware of the importance of justice in the construction of a socialist harmonious society. Whether justice is realized is critical to the realization of a harmonious society. It can be said that there is a relation of direct ratio between justice and harmony in a society. The thesis, based on this, makes a study of the issue of justice in a harmonious society from the following several aspects.Introduction section mainly answers the following questions. What is the background in which the issue of justice comes more obvious in a harmonious society? How is the study of the issue of justice like in history and at present? What are the basic train of thought and methods of this paper used to study the issue of justice? What is the theoretical and realistic significance of the study of the issue of justice?Chapter I investigates the issue of justice in historical process. It is found that any issue of justice inevitably has a relation with the understanding of freedom and equality. This finding provides a theoretical basis and prerequisite for the expounding of the issue of justice in a harmonious society.Chapter II illustrates the essence of justice and harmony. Justice is a historical category and has relative nature as well as absolute nature. It is a combination of ideal and reality. The ultimate problem justice is to solve is the issue of freedom and equality. Therefore, coordination of freedom and equality is critical to the realization of a harmonious society. We should take fairness and justice as value idea, implementation of socialist market-oriented economy as development channel and Marxism as guideline to establish a view of justice for a harmonious society suitable to China's development.Chapter III, through discussion of unfair phenomena in present China, comes up with the channel of realizing justice in a harmonious society and the view that justice is a combination of ideal and reality. Justice, as a social ideal, is congruous with the realization of communist lofty ideals and relates to the reality of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. Harmonious society is a social order and ideal state which is based on just society but above it. We must base our work on the national conditions of China to build a sustainable, just and harmonious society.
