With current domestic and foreign economical situation becoming even more complicated and changeful, in order to meet the opportunity and challenge after entering WTO (world trade organization), deepen structural reform and speed the economy development, it is necessary to vigorously reconstruct and normalize the market economy order. The development current of market economy is reputation economy characterized by taking reputation as the foundation of economy. In our country, the credit sale also starts a quick growth. Consequently, during current and future period, it is an important task of our country to build up social reputation system, normalize market behaviors and gradually form the market structures in line with the game rules of WTO.Based on the research results with regards to the construction of social reputation system, this article deeply analyzes the existent core problems in the process of construction of social reputation system in our country. Taking the combination of the construction of social reputation system and the construction of electronic government as a breakthrough, drawing lessons from western countries'experiences while linked with our country's situation and trying to gain the policy supports of our government and active participation of all kinds of enterprises, all these measures together will promote the improvement and development of the construction of social reputation system.The framework of this thesis is as follows:The first part makes a brief description of putting forward problems, study basis, research methods and so on. Setting out from the retrospect of a few stages experienced during the construction of our reputation system, it introduces the backgrounds of the construction of social reputation system of our country.
