With unique geographical location and rich energy which have brought dual significance for the famous geopolitical theorist Markinder's "mainland heart" theory, the geopolitical center and the 21st century energy center combined here, the Central Asia's geo-strategic position was highlighted again after the disintegration of the Soviet Union. Powers in the world are active in the region, and the Central Asia became the focus of concern of the international community. Before the "9 ? 11" incident, however, the impact and importance of this area are limited in general. It is the"9 ? 11" incident that made the Central Asia become a focus of international strategic arena in a explosive way and big countries competed fiercely here.Russia, the United States and China, as three major powers which are very active in the region, occupy a special position in the Central Asian. The prominence of Russia, the United States and China in Central Asia is associated with the significant impact of them in the region and the special power relationship structure of the three countries itself. When the three countries are involved in regional affairs, this relationship structure was reflected naturally. Since the three countries have their own interests in Central Asia, there are inevitable differences and convergences among them which is shown in action by the form of competition and cooperation. Russia, the United States and China in Central Asia have no intentions and aspirations of confrontation because the confrontation is inconsistent with the fundamental interests and needs of them. This is likely the important conditions for Russia, the United States and China to avoid confrontational relations in Central Asia. After all, times have changed dramatically, and power confrontation "game" is at odds with the current spirit of era.Central Asia is Russia's traditional sphere of influence, and the United States is the hot of Central Asia. With its western borders with Central Asia, in the Central Asian region China has important economic and security interests . In this region, every move of Russia and the United States is closely related to the interests of China. Hence, there will be of practical significance for the analysis of competition and cooperation among Russia, the United States and China in the Central Asia.
