China's rising is not only changing herself, but also affecting the whole world profoundly. Meanwhile, the course of China's rising is also altering East Asia's political and economic patterns. Facing this unalterable trend, Japan, as the most powerful country in Asia, which used to be the leader of Asia since modern times, feels extremely confused. According to traditional geopolitical view, striving for supremacy is any great power's inevitable choice, so China will not have exceptions. As a result, "China Threatening" has ever caused a great clamour in island Japan. However, as the globalization proceeds to go into a high level, traditional "expantionist" geopolitics have changed. And the neo-geopolitics, which is characterised by "peace", "co-operation" and "coexist", contains geopolitics, geoeconomics and geocultures. Therefore, we should probe into China's rising's effects on Sino-Japanese relations in the future. The writer is trying to analyse this issue from neo-geopolitical view in the globalization age and points that China's rising must be predicated on the coexist condition of both countries. The friendly bilateral relations conform to both countries' benefits. Provided that China and Japan make joint efforts, the Sino-Japanese relations must have bright future.
