In 1972 and in 1978,China and Japan respectively signed the"Sino-Japanese Joint Statement"and"Sino-Japanese Treaty of Peace and Friendship", these established the basic principles and direction for the Sino-Japanese relations in a healthy and stable development, they are the most fundamental political document. End of the cold war between China and Japan focus on international and domestic situation, there have been many new significant changes in relations between the two countries. Chinese and Japanese governments in"Sino-Japanese Joint Statement"and"Sino-Japanese Treaty of Peace and Friendship"in the negotiations seems to had been resolved the issue at that time, such as the historical understanding of war, the Taiwan issue , the issue of war reparations, territorial issues, in the new situation, re-emerge in the different form from the past, as a result the relations between the two countries frequently be fluctuated.Therefore, we need a historical and scientific perspective to re-examine the"Sino-Japanese Joint Statement"and"Sino-Japanese Treaty of Peace and Friendship"signed by the historical background; look at the history in the context of the above problem is how to be standardized. Only in this way can we fully understand the"Sino-Japanese Joint Statement"and"Sino-Japanese Treaty of Peace and Friendship"on the development of Sino-Japanese relations played an important role, to a correct view of China and Japan between the various issues, summed up the development of Sino-Japanese relations lessons.
