Organizational Career Management is getting more and more attention, which is animportant content of Human Resource Management. Civil servants are a special group, sowe should attach importance to Organizational Career Management in civil servants. Thisresearch designed Organizational Career Management Questionnaire to carry the survey to298 civil servants in Nanjing government. The result indicated that:(1)Career Satisfaction Scale and Organizational Career Requirement Scale both havethe good reliability and validity.(2)Civil servants of Nanjing Government are basically satisfied with their careerdevelopment. There are some personnel factors to do goods to career development, such asgood interpersonal relationships, healthy, good competence, balance between work andfamily, much experience. While, do harms to career development are personnel factors,such as lacking of background and experience, old age.(3)Civil servants of Nanjing Government have definite requirement in organizationalcareer management. Organizational factors are managerial sense and system, work habit,short of career management concept and atmosphere, which are doing harms to careerdevelopment.(4)In various latitudes of Organizational Career Requirement Scale, the leader post,the sex and the education level have no significant differences, but there are somesignificant differences in specific subjects. The age has significant differences inConsultative and Coaching Requirement and Development Feeling Requirement; Thestanding has significant differences in Personnel Program and Development FeelingRequirement; The post has significant differences in Development Feeling Requirement.(5)In the process of building Systematic Organizational Career Management inNanjing government, we must pay attention to two points. One is solving organizationalproblems, such as thoughts and systems. The other is leading Systematic OrganizationalCareer Management into Nanjing government, including flow diagram and support.
