China-Asean Free Trade Area (CAFTA) doesn't only have great influence on both sides, but also have impact on East Asia and Asian Pacific Region. It reflects that geo-factors play an increasingly important role in Post-Cold War international relations. The construction of CAFTA is more than an economic phenomenon, which includes profound political and cultural strategy. Based on geo-factors, taking advantage of Western geo-theories' analysis pattern, combining traditional Chinese geo-strategies' peaceful aim, this article gives a comprehensive analysis to China's accession to CAFTA from geoeconomic, geopolitical and geocultural perspectives. And the analyses come to a conclusion that China's entry is not a temporary solution, but a long-term developing strategy. Furthermore, by giving a concise analysis on the carrying out of CAFTA up to Mar.2007, this article also expects to give a better understanding of Chinese govemment's good-neighbor foreign strategy in the new century.
