There are two main reasons which brought me to the research of the subject of Energy Sources Diplomacy between China and Gulf Countries:Firstly, this makes a good combination of my study for the master's degree with my virtual work experience together. As a resident diplomat from Oman to China, I have been working in China for 10 years now, and I always try my very best to be an eligible diplomat, my efforts on the study of the Chinese culture is ever ceaseless, also I keep an close eye on the diplomatic relations between China and Oman. At the mean while, my concern on the diplomatic dynamics between China and other countries, especially gulf countries is always there as well.Secondly, energy is the blood of the development of modern industrial society, which is of great importance to influence the global economic development and the national security. At present, the imported countries and the exported countries are carrying out diplomat behaviors in energy field in order to guarantee the security of oil supply and get the stable exported market and sustainable income. The energy diplomacy has become one important part of economic diplomacy. The middle-east region owns the biggest oil reserves of the world, so the fight for oil in this region is becoming fiercer. As China becomes the second biggest oil consuming country and oil imported country after America, the importance of middle-east oil to the sustainable development of China economy is obvious.
