Japanese Mikado System has experienced ancient times, modern timesand symbolized Mikado System, which lasted for more than 1300 years inhistory. Especially, the affection imposed on Japanese society by JapaneseMikado System of modern times is witnessed by all over the world. However,after Japan was defeated in WWII, Mikado, as a symbol, still existed inJapanese society.With the general conservation after the Cold War, Japanese societygradually began to affirm the japanese aggression before WWII and inclinedto re-assess the orientation of history by the pass of "Law of NationalFlag& Anthem", the consecutive Premier visit to Yasukuni Shrine and thedistortion of history textbooks, etc. By all the measures mentioned above,Japanese government attempted to intensify Mikado System and integratedthe whole country, aiming at being a "common nation". These measuresare almost the same as those conducted to apotheosis Mikado and use thepower of Mikado to serve for the interest of country by reformists in MeijiTimes. Therefore, by analyzing Mikado System and its political functions,this thesis is to analyze the deep motivation of these measures and theimpact on neighboring countries by the intensification of Mikado System.Firstly, the thesis is to give a brief summary on the processes ofthe rise and development of Mikado System according to history sequences,laying a profound foundation on elaborating political functions of thesystem.Secondly, the thesis is to elaborate the affection of Mikado Systemon Japanese politics in specific history context, basing on internalaffairs and diplomacy.The last but not the least, the thesis is to analyze the relationshipbetween the goal for nation development and Mikado System after the ColdWar. It also analyzes the impact on neighboring countries by theintensification of Mikado System. Through the analysis, we expect thereaders will have a deeper understanding of the relationship betweenJapan' s nation development strategies and the consecutive Premier visitto Yasukuni Shrine and the distortion of history textbooks.
