The army shoulder the responsibility of country defense work and modernization construction. To build modernized national defense and army, build study-type military forces, train high-quality military talents, all there is close related to study. Therefore, it is significative theoretically and realistically, to research military study behavior and psychology.The project adopt a questionnaire method to a big number of samples and have further analysis on soldiers'understanding of current military education and training, viewpoints about local training, self effective sense in learning, difficulties, environment, education investment, leaning preference etc. We have acquired lots of detailed and credible first-hand information which can help the army perfect current training system and establish related policies to the situation based on the data.Conclusions have been drawn as follows.1. Most soldiers consider it is necessary to carry on education and training in military troops. They accept the current training but lack enough activity.2. Soldiers have strong desire to attend local training but have less understanding leading to a less number of regular attendee.3. Previous failure or success experience affect soldiers'self effective sense in learning significantly which will make each have different forecast in their later studies.4. Soldiers'motivations for study can be ranked from high to low as exploring interest, service for society,career development, family education, social activity, public expectations.5. Soldiers make used of universal learning strategies like time and environment management strategy, attention strategy, obtain supporting strategy. Most of them think it will help to adopt a certain strategy but limited in their practice.6. The learning style of competition and cooperation has been used by most soldiers. However, it is significantly different for soldiers of different age and education background.7. It is a widely used and also the best method to buy books and self-educate for soldiers.8. The most universal factors that hamper soldiers'study are too heavy drill, less and energy, busy work, less time, no idea where to find their needs, divided attention and low study efficiency.9. Learning environment includes environment and psychology atmosphere and the military army have satisfied the soldiers'needs in hardware but have insufficiency in the later.10. Most soldier has invest time and money in their study.11. The military army's mainstream concepts of learning is right and active, according with the social tide among which the army's education has played a great role.12. It is closely related to the content whether soldiers of different group, residence, service time or education differ in preference , desire , difficulty on certain content...
