Based on the data of investigated 400 peasant workers in Jiaxin city, Zhejiang province, this study worked systematically on the status in quo of peasants' life satisfaction, using statistical methods of variance analysis, factor analysis, multivariate logistic regression analysis, etc.In the beginning of this thesis, the background, and scope of this research are introduced, before the researching method and frame of this paper are given. In the second part, after the definitions of related concepts in this thesis, the author presents a comprehensive review of the related theories and researches, which show the achievements of previous study on peasants and life satisfaction, which will be the basis of the analysis model. In the third chapter, the paper describes peasant workers' basic statisc conditions of life satisfaction in Jiaxin city. It outlines the relationship between the personal factors and life satisfaction, as well as the relationship between subjective evaluations of six primary aspects of peasants' life and life satisfaction, setting basis for empirical analysis. In the forth part, based on the survey, variance analysis is used to analyze the influence between personal factors and the evaluations of material and spiritual life. Multivariate logistic regressions are established after extracting six common factors, including social security, children's education, job status, social circumstance, family relation and family economic status. The paper analyzes, with the regression model, the internal mechanism that induces the peasant workers to evaluate their lives in the city. Finally, it is summarized with conclusions and possible policy suggestions. There are four conclusions given: (1) sex and job status have a significant effect on the satisfaction evaluations of both material life and spiritual life; (2) education level, family relations and economic status have an obvious drawing impact on the satisfaction of material life; (3) age marriage status, social security and social circumstance affects peasants' satisfaction of spiritual life at different degrees; (4) there is no significant relation between the education status of peasants' children and their life satisfaction.
