At present, the social gap between the rich and the poor is widening, social justice is suffering damage to some degrees in our country. In view of this, the subjective quality of life (QOL) of urban poverty group is worthy of attention and research, especially their psychological state. It is of great significance to follow a scientific approach of development and construct a socialist harmonious society. So the subjective QOL of urban poverty group is chosen to be discussed in the paper. The quantitative analysis method is mainly used and mixed with qualitative analysis method complementary. First of all, a portion of research database about city residents' confidence index in Shandong province are transferred and analyzed by using the quantitative analysis; the tool adopted to measure the subjective QOL of urban poverty group is the subjective well-being scale for Chinese citizens in the simple edition (SWBS-CC). There are 10 dimensions constitute in SWBS-CC:abundant content experience, mental health experience, social confidence experience, growth progress experience, value experience of realizing the goal, self-acceptance experience, healthy body experience, balance experience about mentality, interpersonal adaptability experience, family atmosphere experience. Secondly, the material about the four households from urban poverty group having been selected previously is analyzed by the way of literature and interview. So it will make the research on subjective QOL of the urban poverty group more perfect. The research findings include the following aspects after the analysis of the data:a, the subjective well-being level of urban poverty group is significantly below the average level of the province overall; b, the subjective well-being levels of urban poverty group are significantly different between male and female, among different groups of age, marital status, education level, profession and income, and there are some significant differences in 10 dimensions. c, it shows that there are the following policy problems through the analysis of the case interviews to urban poverty group:the level of the social security is especially low and the range too narrow, it is lack of policies about supporting the development of urban poverty group; It is lack of inner communication mechanisms among government departments working for the same urban poverty group; Urban-management officers often only attend to the image of the city but rarely to jobs of the disadvantaged masses on the enforcement of law.Based on the above analysis, we provide the following policy recommendations: trying to promote women's employment, enhancing the self-development ability of urban poverty group with low academic level, focus on increasing the subjective well-being level of married and middle-aged male in urban poverty group, enhancing re-employment and security of laid-off and unemployed and the group who are difficult to get job, improving low-income urban poverty group's QOL.
