The Subjective Quality Of Life Of Rural Residents In The District Of Xiaoshan

This study collects materials through questionnaire survey and in-dept interview. Based on the relevant theories of quality of life and need hierarchy theory, it aims to examine the subjective quality of life of rural residents in the District of Xiaoshan from the angle of subjective ideas of rural residents.The first part includes the study background, the literature review, the conceptualization and the operation of concept. In addition, the framework, the hypothesis, and the research method of this study are also mentioned.The second part employs the Descriptive Statistics of the variables to analyze the status and characters of the subjective quality of life of rural residents with the realm of the subjective feelings of life and the subjective life satisfaction. The study found that the subjective quality of life of rural residents is high, which the subjective life satisfaction is higher than the subjective feelings of life.The third part uses the measures of correlation to analyze the influence of age, income and other factors on the subjective quality of life of rural residents. The study found that rural residents with different sex, age, occupation, education have no obvious differences in the subjective quality of life; rural residents with different income, political face have certain differences in their subjective quality of life.The forth part employs the Multiple Linear Regression to analyze the influence of natural quality factors and social status factors on the subjective quality of life, the subjective feelings of life and the subjective life satisfaction.The study found that natural quality factors of rural residents have influence on their subjective feelings of life, with no impact on the subjective quality of life, the age of natural quality factors affects rural residents'subjective life satisfaction. Social status factors of rural residents have influence on their subjective quality of life, the political face of social status factors has impact on their subjective feelings of life, the political face and income of social status factors affect their subjective life satisfaction. The last part includes the conclusion and discussion of this study. It concludes that the mental state of marginal man in the subjective feelings of life of rural residents, the relationship between social stratification and the subjective quality of life, the statistical analysis of the influential factor to the subjective quality of life, the importance of making researches on the subjective quality of life, As well, the limitation of the study is included in this part.
