The Balance Of Power Theory Study

Through exploring the balance philosophy firstly, and according it to analyze and criticize the balance of power theory, the paper reveals that a new theory of international relations based on the law of balance, and "harmonious world" provides an opportunity to construct this new theory of international politics.The paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter I is Introduction.Chapter II reveals the law of balance is universal in nature and human society through analyzing the balance philosophy. In the material level, it performs the material balance and in the awareness level, it performs the balance of human nature. In the international community level, it performs the balance of the country's human nature. The balance of power theory, which is the one of international community following the law of equilibrium, is based on the balance philosophy.Chapter III analyses the balance of power theory, which is the theory of realism genre. It focuses the balance of international relations on the material level. In the awareness level of human nature, there are some faults and deviation. The theory of the soft balance of power, which is the patch of the traditional balance of power balance, also has many deficiencies. So a new theory is needed to reveal law of balance of the development of international relations.Chapter IV proposed that the balance is the core values of harmonious world, which is a world at a higher level constructed following the law of balance.
