| Kuomintang(KMT) has experienced three main periods in Taiwan politics when it withdraw mainland to Taiwan: the Jiang Jieshi Age,the Jiang Jingguo Age and the Li Denghui Age. In these ages KMT had changed greatly and it influenced the Taiwan political transformation directly. Taiwan politics experienced the transition of liberalization and democratization and evolved from Authoritarianism to democracy especially in the age of Jiang Jingguo and Li Denghui. The transformation of KMT and choice of the leader group had taken the crucial effect in this historical procedure. |
