Study Of Migrant Workers Human Capital Investment Entities And Investment Path

In China's modernization process, migrant workers are main force of urbanization and specific practice of modernization, the value of which human capital is benefit to urbanization process and eases its resistance. Therefore it is necessary to increase the human capital investment of migrant workers.But the present stage migrant workers' human capital investment is facing many questions: In city, because the training subject of investment is not clear and the migrant workers' own cost-income consideration, its investment situation is unoptimistic. In countryside, many reasons have restricted the human capital investment, which include tradition concept, economic capacity insufficiency, elementary education and vocational education backwardness.This paper researches the investor of migrant workers' human capital firstly. The human capital formation of migrant workers involves in individuals (or family), the employing units and the Government. Through researching the investment status of every main investment, we conclude that: It is inadequate investment on migrant workers' human capital, and it is hard for individuals (or family) and the employing units to be main investment. To make up for this deficiency, Government should bear the main responsibility for capital investment, and plays a leading role.Secondly, we concern about the path choices of migrant workers' human capital investment Through analyzing the special constraint condition which the young migrant workers faces, this article introduces a model to suit in the young migrant workers' human capital investment, carries on the analysis to the young migrant workers' human capital investment choice, and further considers the most superior investment decision-making policy, and puts forward some proposals as the foundation to government's policy selection.After analyzing the investor and path choices, we conclude that government should reinforce the leading role of migrant workers' human capital investment, and puts forward some proposals as the foundation to government's policy selection.Finally, we elaborate other factors of raising migrant workers' human capital.
