The parliamentary reform from the 18th century 60s to 1832 is an important event of the United Kingdom political history. British Parliament has a long history. It was the world's first parliament, known as "the mother of parliaments." Parliament has played an important role in social development of the United Kingdom, but in the second half of the 18th century, because of its electoral system in use for hundreds of years ago without any changes in provisions, and its defects caused by different sectors of the community outcry. 60s from the 18th century onwards, from all walks of life demanded parliamentary reform. But the ruling clique refuse reforms, led to growing discontent, and ultimately lead to a comprehensive social crisis, British society was moving toward the brink of armed revolution. After various political forces as long as 70 years of strength and compromise, social conflicts by peaceful reform finally ended. The importance of the United Kingdom Parliament reform for English is of no less than the 17th century revolution. Today Britain's political system, almost nothing come from the 17th century revolution in Britain, as soon as the dynamic of the revolution ended, the United Kingdom returned to the political track. In contrast, in 1832 the range of parliamentary reform seems unlikely, but opened up a path to democracy. Down this path of development down the politics in the United Kingdom to maintain social stability there has been a fundamental change.However, the history of reform, in our country's traditional textbooks, was rarely of concern. For it was inconsistent with the traditional theory of revolution. Until the reform and opening-up period, people started to break away from the revolutionary discourse of the system, people begin to recognize gradual reform for an important role in social progress.Summing up the British Parliament the successful experience of reform, for social and political development of our country is an important reference value. This article from abroad in recent years the rise of the Republican trend of thought, from the republican form of government the new perspective of the parliamentary reform movement were analyzed. From the point of view of republic, the reform of the British Parliament is in fact a republican form of government under the framework of an improved. English "Glorious Revolution" and after the establishment of a republican aristocracy, but in the evolution of nearly a hundred years thereafter, it gradually degenerated into an oligopoly of the political system (but still belong to a republican form of government). With the rise of the industrial revolution, the new class, the rise of class, social demands to break the oligarchy's monopoly, so that more of the Class to participate in the polity. After more than 70 years of struggle, rigid parliamentary system finally in 1832 the first implementation of reform, open government from oligarchy to a democratic republican form of government changes in the door.
