The modern process of transformation of the Kazakhstan society embracesall its spheres, including the political. Choosing the path of politicaldevelopment is associated with extensive international and domestic experiencein a poor state system, one of the most common form of which is theparliamentary system.Relevance of the study of modern Kazakh parliamentary enhanced by thefact that the experience of its formation is relatively small. In the master’s thesisattempts to contribute to the further development of the problems of institutionalanalysis of parliamentarism, the place and role of Parliament in the democratictransformation of society. And further to determine the prospects of furtherdevelopment of Kazakhstan’s parliamentary system, and based on institutionalanalysis to consider the practical recommendations for improving parliamentaryactivities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.Institutional analysis is undoubtedly effective and widely used method ofinvestigation of representative institutions, but by itself it is not sufficient, so thestudy uses comparative institutional approach. Since combining theseapproaches, modern political science has achieved quite significant progress inthe comparative study of parliaments and parliamentary system.A number of theoretical propositions and conclusions of the master’s workcan be used to further study the features of the political process in modern Kazakhstan, and also find application in the development of training courses andmanuals on political science, comparative politics, special courses oninstitutional analysis of parliamentary systems, the problems of democratictransition in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
