A harmonious world is an important support for promoting world's peaceful development, and it embodied our country's consistent position on adhering to the path of peaceful development, highlighted the indispensible great-country-responsibility and historical mission of China.The idea of a harmonious world is full of the spirit of democracy, and it takes on a new world development view which possesses a global vision and has been widely recognized by the international community.The idea of "a harmonious world" is Chinese concept of the ideal world, it aggregates the essence of Chinese traditional culture, and is closely related to Chinese culture and values, so it is the value regression of China's diplomacy which based on the "harmony and peace" thought of the essence of Chinese traditional culture. "The idea of a harmonious World" finds out the value theory's consonance point among China and other countries of the world in the context of multiculturalism, and adheres to the spirit of tolerance; it also respects the diversity of civilizations and cultures, seeks recognition, and actively carries out cultural exchanges with foreign countries.At present, the idea of a harmonious world is in the stage of transition from a concept to a theory, but in the mean time also in the stage of transition from a idea to a strategy, therefore, we should explore it both in academics and policies.
