Chinese government has been attaching importance to working with disabled persons, since new China created. With the efforts of government, disabled worker and others, China had made brilliant achievements in working with the disabled. Compared to the first with the second national sample survey on disability, it is no hard to find that living standard of the disabled has been greatly improved. But there are also many problems need to be solved as soon as possible. First of all, develop disparately among different regions.China minority region has such distinguishing characteristics, including lots of Chinese ethnic minorities inhabit here, large area and developing comparatively slowly that hinder the development of disabled persons' work to some extent. Domestic and overseas experts are interested in research on disabled persons' living and development in China minority region. They gave a lot of suggestions to our government. But there is no denying that compared to research on eastern developed region's disabled persons' work, there are less research results. In addition, research materials is hard to find. Previous researches more depended on the first national sample survey on disability in 1987. In order to master disables' situation, the Second China National Sample Survey on Disability is under way from 2006 to 2007. Information collected is many more than the first sample survey. This paper's information source consists of the second sample survey and recent relative research results in terms of disabled people's employment.The disabled who have ability to work is also a part of human resource. If this resource is developed effectively, national financial burden is not only reduced, but it can also helps persons with disability to establish self-confidence and to obtain a sense of fair. Promoting disabled person's employment is the key to improve their living standard in minority region. According to data analysis and data retrieval, I found there are many difficulties in employment in minority region. The chief reason is lack of demand, which is due to both the demand side and the supply side. As for the demand side, with economic system in transition, corporate welfares are facing a lot of difficulties. Jobs that they provide to persons with disability are less than before. Furthermore, quota employment is not carried out effectively. As for the supply side, that is disabled persons' qualities.
