| China has a vast wetland resources, also the comprehensive protection has been carried out since the nineties of the last century, but the issues of reduction of area and quality reduction that the wetland are facing still has not been fundamentally reversed. The reason is that deficiencies exist in our legal system for wetland protection. Therefore, this paper first discussed the concept of wetlands, also analyzed and summarized the advanced system on the legislation at home and abroad, then discussed the inadequacies of chinese wetland protection system, at last the author advanced reasonable proposals based on different system defects to improve the wetland protection system and chieve the purpose of sustainable use of wetlands. |
